Transformation Requires Action

“If you hold seed in your hand, it cannot grow.” This was what the  Holy Spirit said to me this morning. This is so good, I have to say it again; If you hold seed in your hand, it cannot grow! You have to plant it, otherwise, it cannot be transformed. Likewise, if you don’t use your talent, faith or gift, you cannot experience the multiplication; God cannot transform it.

2 Cor 9:10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;

The Holy Spirit went on to say, “The same with Faith, if it is not released in me, I cannot act upon it. I need you to sow it so I can grow and transform it. If there is no seed, there is no potential for a harvest. I give seed to the sower, so in order for there to be fruit, you Must sow. Once you sow, the potential for harvest is activated, but it is dependent upon the ground in which it is sown.”

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

I know this Scripture is mostly used for monetary gifts, but in truth, Christ spoke of this in the general sense of giving, and we know that if we give God anything, it will not return to us void.

If faith is released in Jesus, He is good ground and therefore, you will have an abundance of good fruit. If, however, faith in released in corruption, you cannot expect good fruit.

Having seed in your hand and not sowing it, is the same as being a child of God in a battle, having God’s power to defeat the enemy and not using it. Faith is a loaded army tanker in the enemy’s camp, but if you don’t use it, the enemy will strip you of it, reload it with doubt and fire relentlessly at you.

This is what we do when we lock up our faith, talent or gifts and if we are not careful, we will look at those who are reaping from sowing theirs and become jealous, envious or bitter (lusts of the flesh) which leads to our peace being stolen.

Not planting your seed is the same as having doubt. In other words, you cannot operate from a place or position of doubt (not planting your seed/talent/gifts) and reap Kingdom goodness.

We’ve been given a Kingdom account with seed(faith), talent or gifts but the only currency that is acceptable, is faith-in-action. If we don’t manage it with faith, we cannot access its benefits and God cannot/will not operate on any other term. Faith is the term of the contract. Invest or sow your faith, talent or gifts and Christ will transform them into harvests.

I will leave you to chew on these words which I’ve extracted from our conversation. “The farmer sows the seed, he does not know how it grows, but he has faith that it will grow. Do you likewise. I grow the seed and cause the formation and transformation, but you must first sow it.”

  1. So true sister Cassie! As long as the earth remains, seed time and harvest shall not cease (paraphrased). God has never been and never will be stingy. Most of the time it’s fear that keep people from sowing any type of seed. To me, the best freedom is to be able to give of anything to God. You can rest, knowing that it’s not in vain. Just think, none of us would be saved if Jesus suddenly chickened out from the first lash across his back. He knew that by sowing himself into the earth would reap the greatest Harvest!! God is still giving the increase!! Jesus is my example to follow. Just sow it and relax. The good ground is Jesus! You will reap if you faint not. Sister Cassie – thanks for sowing into our lives with these nuggets of wisdom from God. God bless you. 🙏🏽🕊💎💎💎

    1. Lady Lizette, thank you. I too am really grateful that Jesus didn’t chickened out or you and I would be destined for hell.😳
